Electricity is an energy that flows from one place to another. There are mainly 2 types of energies that are Potencial energy and kinetic energy. Potencial energy is an energy stored in a place to use it later for use. Some Potencial energies in our daily life are, batteries and air stored in a balloon. Kinetic energy is an energy that flows through the wires because it can't be stored anywhere. Few kinetic energies in our daily life are, an aeroplane flying in the wind, running...etc. When electricity attacks at one place it is known as static electricity.
When electricity flows through the wires it is known as current elctricity. A voltage is an electrical force that pushes electricity through the wires. We measure electricity in units called as volts. Suppose a tubelight needs 12 volts but it has 14 volts, it would blast! There were few historians who discovered about electricity like Thales of miletus, Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison. Make sure you never play with electricity.
The people who invented electricity were Alexander lodygin and harvey hubbel. Before people invented electricity, everyone use to cookfood with coal fires. After people invented electricity people could cook food with charcoal. Then people started using elecricity for many things.
